Easy Sauteed Brussels Sprouts Recipe

This is one of my favorite ways to cook Brussels sprouts! This recipe for Brussels sprouts with balsamic and garlic is quick, easy, and incredibly delicious. If you’ve never tried sautéed Brussels sprouts, you’re in for a treat. Rubbing them helps them cook faster in the pan, making them soft and delicious. Then, we’ll take them to the next level with garlic, balsamic vinegar, dried cranberries, and toasted nuts. The combination is irresistible! And here’s a little trivia for your Brussels sprouts: it’s always ‘Brussels sprouts’, not ‘Brussels sprouts,’ even if you’re just saying one! Looking for more ways to … Read more

Our Favorite Shortbread Recipe

This is my favorite shortbread cookie recipe! It’s super easy and the cookies are firm enough to keep for days (if not weeks when refrigerated). There are only a few ingredients needed and no mixer! You only need a bowl and a spoon. I love these shortbread cookies! They are very simple, which proves that sometimes basic recipes really are the best. They have a classic buttery flavor that reminds me of the Scottish shortbread (like Walker’s) that I enjoyed growing up. They are amazing. While the base recipe only calls for three ingredients, I like to add a touch … Read more

Deb’s Ranch Crackers Recipe – A Bit of Yum

You can use butter or oil – I prefer oil because I’ve found it stays crispier. Dried dill works better than freeze dried dill, in my experience! It is slightly ground and has a strong taste. The same method can work with pretzels, cheez its, mini saltines, or popcorn! As written these will be very focused! If you prefer a lighter ranch cracker, use two bags of crackers instead of one. (But for me – I like a cracker with tons of ranch flavor in it!)

Chicken meatball and noodle soup – hit kitchen

Why eat matzo? If you grew up with matzo ball soup, you may like the familiar taste (and I’m sure a lot of fun) using it, but don’t worry, breadcrumbs work just as well. The amount of noodles suggested for this soup is large because we like it that way, but for a classic balance, you might find 4 ounces just right. If you choose to cook your noodles in soup, do it with an additional 4 cups of broth. Meatballs 1 large egg 3 tablespoons (45 ml) water or milk 2 tablespoons chopped fresh-leaf parsley 1 clove of garlic, … Read more
