This turkey sandwich is amazing! A noff from the popular sandwich shop, it’s super easy to recreate for Thanksgiving Everevers!
This amazing sandwich is inspired by the award-winning bobbie sandwich from Caprioti’s sandwich shop. Have you ever had one? Oh my goodness, of course, it’s so good… and this homemade version is just as yummy as the original!
Ingredients for this turkey recipe
To be fair, it’s not just leftover turkey that this sandwich relies on. In fact, it can be called “the best left over.” Thank you Sandwich “Because we use up a lot of leftovers from the Classic Thanksgiving for these little crisps.
- Rolls: Use your favorite dinner roll. You can also use two slices of bread or a hougie / sub sandwich bun.
- Mayonnaise: This popular sandwich relies on a healthy spread of mayo for a creamy taste. You can test adding other toppings, like nanastard, but for the classic representation of this sandwich, that’s about it!
- Garlic: This sandwich works best with a well-ground turkey, so make sure the turkey isn’t in chunks or large pieces.
- Cranberry Sauce: Add cranberry sauce to taste. I like a lot in this sandwich, but you can add a little. Tangy, sweet sauce is like that, it’s great with other ingredients. Homemade or jarred cranberry sauce can be used.
- Stuffing: If the filling (leftover or freshly made) you are using has bread in large pieces, measure the filling so that it is in smaller pieces.
The exact amount of ingredients used in a sandwich will depend largely on the size of the wrap or bread. Follow your heart. Think of this demonstration as a guide rather than a rigid way of making a sandwich.
Assembling a sandwich
- Cut the dinner roll in half and spread both sides with mayonnaise.
- The bottom layer is part of Turkey.
- DOLLOP CRANBERRY SAUCE over turkey.
- Add the stuffing on top of the cranberry sauce.
- Top with the upper part of the roll.
Give the sandwich a little at a time Press everything together and grind! (Actually, before you do… see the notes below about serving this sandwich just warm if you want to try that option!)
How to Serve a Warm Sandwich
This turkey sandwich tastes best after it’s assembled.
However, I like it when it is easily reheated. You can heat a sandwich in a few different ways:
- Microwave the assembled sandwich for 15-20 seconds.
- Place the sandwich in an oven-safe dish, cover with foil, and warm in the oven at 250 degrees for 10-16 minutes.
- Pop the assembled sandwich into the Panini Puzreok and cook until browned.
- Warm the sandwich in a toaster oven set at 350 degrees for about 3 to 4 minutes.
If you have dravy left, This sandwich is delicious to dip in a VAT (ER, bowl) to lower, to warm the gravy. However, it’s just as delicious without the gravy. Gravy is definitely an option!

My mouth is literally watering just thinking about this match. I’m a sandwich lover too (Probably my favorite Ground Group other than dark chocolate), and this turkey sandwich is one of the best sandwiches in the history of eternity.
Every time I go to Caprioti’s Sandwich Shop in my nearest town, I order it. I can’t wait to make this sandwich for Thanksgiving. As in, I’ll be putting leftovers in this sandwich! I hope you do and like it, too!
