In this simple Skillet Sweden method of Meatballs, meatballs tenders are included in a fun, difficult gratry. Serve rice, noodles or potatoes!
I have been doing this recipe for over ten years, and easily in the higher diet for 10 families! It is very impressive!

Sweden Meatball Differences
They are many Diversity of Swedish’s Swedish recipes of Meatball out there in Interwebs. Others use global pigs or beef or combination. Many times, nutmeg or allspice is added while other methods do not use those spices at all. Also various sauce as meatballs! Thin or thin, cream or black.
My Meatball recipe results in a very tasty meatballs, meatball tenders swim in black gravy, rich, rich brown. They are very good.
The mixture of meat is a simple combination of ingredients:
- Beef or soil pork (or combinatory – even the Ground Turkey Turkey is working well)
- crumplings of bread
- digestive onions
- Brown sugar trick, Allspice and Nutmeg
- egg
- milk
- salt and pepper




Skillet cooked by meatballs
Meatballs and sauce is made on one skillet. You can use a 12-inch or cast iron skillet. But, I find that often, I make this recipe in my faithful electric skillet {FUN. Link}.
It is great enough to cook all meatballs in one layer in one batch. 🙌🏼 I keep this body around about this cooking method. (Yes, this is the fried rice.)
Here is the process of assaulting these Swedish meat items:
- Make meatballs.
- Brown meatballs in skillet and remove from the plate.
- Make a simple roux and whisk in the broth to make a base of sauce.
- Put the meatballs to return and go down until the cooked meatballs and the sauce is lined.
- Stir the sour cream.

Skillet Sweden Baterballs
Meatballs:
- 1 ½ kilograms Pork in the ground, blowing cow or ground turkey (see a note)
- 1 The big egg
- ¼ cup milk
- ⅓ cup Bread crumpling (see the note)
- ¼ cup Well-lined or lined onions
- 1 gauge salt
- 1 gauge brown sugar
- ¼ gauge Soil nutmeg (see a note)
- ¼ gauge World Allspice (see Note)
- ¼ gauge black pepper
- 1-2 harem Cooking oil
Sauce:
- 1 cart butter
- 1 cart Olive oil
- ¼ cup a full-purpose flour
- + cups Low-sodium cow broth
- 1 gauge brown sugar
- ½ cup sour cream
- Selected parsley or dry parsley
- Egg noodles are cooked, potatoes, or rice, serving

For Meatballs, In the big dish, mix all meat ingredients without fat and mix until equal to equal.

Scoop is a mixture of meat on meatballs about 1 1/2 inches in size.

Heat the oil in 12-inch, skillets or electric skillets with a middle heat until hot and explode.

Put the meatballs in a pan in one layer of an inch or outside. You may need cooking batches, depending on your pan’s size. (* See the note of the method cooked in the oven.)

Brown meatballs to all sides. They will finish cooking in the future step. Remove meatballs in a pan or plate. Repeat the remaining meatballs Add more oil to the Skillet, if required. Have removed from the skillet and browned.

That is a sauce, Return Skillet in the medical heat and add 1 spoon butter and 1 tablespoon oil. If the Skillet is very dry before adding the butter and oil, you may want to add another tablespoon or two butter or oil so it’s not a lumpy. Heat until it melts. Add flour and cook, update every time, 1-2 minutes.

Add a little bit of broth, 1/2 cup at a time, quickly hit the conjectures. Allow each additional broth cooks up to thick and smooth before adding the following slowly. If you have added approximately 2 cups, add the remaining broth and whisk until combined.

Stir brown sugar and bring sauce to SIMMER, and stab regularly.

Put the meatballs to the skillet and cook for 10 minutes until the 12-meat spots are cooked, reply once or twice when cooking.

Without heat, stimulate sour cream from the source (just tie around the meatballs). To help us to combine it easier, you can slow down warm sauce on a container and Prisk sour cream before installing everything back on Skillet.

Garnish with fresh or dry parsley and serve the hot egg noodles, cooked, potatoes, or rice.
Crumplings of bread: You can use any kind of bread fruit here: Panka, store, made at home, etc.
Nutmeg and Allspice: Nutmeg and allspice add a delicious taste on meatballs; However, they can be reduced into each or fully left.
Sauce: If you want sauce a little larger, multiply the flour on the other spoon.
Oveni Way: Put the meatballs wrapped by fool-lined ship with oil and bakes with 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until the cooked. While meatballs cooked, make the saucepan from a stove. Put the meatballs cooked in the sauce quickly in the oven and serve (or keep moving until you serve).
