I love making this Creamy Espresso Martini Recipe for brunch parties. It’s a fun way to combine coffee and a cocktail! I personally love the creaminess and sweetness of Bailey’s in a drink paired with savory brunch dishes (like the Breakfast Slider) over a traditional espresso martini. These cocktails are so easy to make that you can always give your guests a choice!

Recipe Highlights
- A luxurious and creamy cocktail, perfect for a brunch treat or a dessert drink.
- Only three ingredients!!!
- It’s so easy to make tourists by flying!
Ingredients notes
- Espresso: Use freshly brewed espresso for the best flavor. If you don’t have an espresso machine, strong roasted coffee works as a substitute, but the foam won’t be as strong.
- Vodka: Neutral vodka works best, but vanilla or coffee-flavored vodka can also be used.
- Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur : The star of the show, Baileys brings creaminess and sweetness all in one.
How to Make a Creamy Espresso Martini
- Step 1: Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
- Step 2: Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
- Step 3: Pour into a chilled cocktail glass.

Tips for making the best Creamy Espresso Martini with Baileys
- Using cold espresso and vodka ensures that your drink is cold without being too diluted with ice. At least chill your martini glasses by putting ice on them. Drain and strain before pouring into a shaken cocktail.
- Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for 15-20 seconds to create the perfect espresso martini.
- If you like a sweet cocktail add simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. For more coffee flavor add a coffee liqueur such as Kahlua.
- Add coffee beans, grated chocolate, or even caramel syrup to your espresso martinis for a nice and elegant garnish.
Recipe Variations
- Use a plant-based Irish cream such as Baileys Almande for a dairy-free option.
- Add a spoonful of chocolate syrup to the shaker before mixing the chocolate mocha espresso martini.
- Add a pinch of sea salt and a caramel drizzle for a sweet and salty martini.
Recipe Modification
- By pinching instead with 2 oz of strong roasted coffee, cold coffee, or cold brew.
- Try other cream liqueurs like RumChata instead of Bailey’s for different flavor profiles.
- You can too replace vodka with gin with a gin espresso martini.
